I would love nothing more than to help students fall in love with writing. I want them to understand the process, to appreciate the craft. I want them to feel empowered whenever they pick up a pen, click clack on a typewriter, or face a computer screen.
Of course, in order to show students how to write well, I cannot be a stranger to writing. My creative writing pieces are somewhat out for the scope of this portfolio (please email me at the link to the left if you are interested in those works). However, my formal papers will provide a clearer picture of my writing ability, material I have read, and my analytical and research skills. These are all skills that I hope to use when working with students.
