I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Agnes Scott College. I teach the calculus-based Introductory Physics Sequence, upper division classes, and a new course about Global Music and Physics (PHY150).
During Spring of the 2016/2017 academic year, I will be on a one-semester leave. During this time I will be performing research in Europe.
This image shows one aspect of my research: trying to model, via a computer simulation, an experimental situation. This specific image represents the Cerenkov light produced by a quantity of fluorine-18 (FDG) in a small eppendorf tube.
